In this short video I discuss the 2002 sports comedy drama Bend It Like Beckham, directed by Gurinder Chadha and starring Parminder Nagra and Keira Knightley. It’s a wonderful movie with a lot of heart, and layers of meaning that will satisfy all kinds of viewers. Still, there’s something about the way the actual sport is depicted that bothers me… It’s fascinating, so I made a video about it! (Go Lionesses!)
