In this one we’re taking on the next in the series, The Empire Strikes Back. Released in 1980, this was the all-important sequel to the runaway success and the pressure was on. What ended up airing in theatres on May 6th that year was something that expanded on the original whilst also adopting a far darker tone. Note: As with the first I watched both the commercial blu-ray release and the fan-restored Project 4K80 version, but the changes are far less substantial than with the first and I made the decision not to slow down the video by giving them a whole segment.
